My dramatic blog about Japanese dramas.

Okay, so maybe my blog won't really be dramatic, but dramatically awesome...like me. Actually, Japanese dramas are some of the most interesting pieces of television I have ever watched in my life. Sometimes (rarely, and I'm sure people will debate this) they are well acted, other times the acting is so terrible it hurts. But one thing is true, Japanese dramas are ADDICTING. The story lines are awesome and cater to just about every taste. I, however, will be catering to my taste, the good taste, the fun taste. So I'll post a wide variety of Japanese dramas, plots, where to find them and so forth. Let the fun ensue. Here's a clip from My Boss My Hero
No subtitles needed folks, Universal Translation: Pudding.

Makes me smile a lot.(⌒▽⌒)ノ_彡☆バンバン!

Woah, you really know a lot about Japanese TV shows. I like to watch a lot of Japanese anime like Gundam, Ghost in the Shell, and Naruto. But I've never watched any live-action stuff besides a couple movies. Are there any live-action shows that you'd recommend to me? Preferably with giant robots? :-P

Thanks for the post! What Japanese movies do you watch? Maybe I can recommend some dramas based on those too...I'm not really sure of any dramas with giant robots.m(._.)m ゴメン But have you heard of Sexy Voice and Robo (セクシーボイスアンドロボ) it's really funny, very random and features some Gundam like surprises you might find funny. Warning: It's very weird...but funny. The main plot: a Jr. high girl, who has the ability to manipulate her voice, and an Otaku, who is obsessed with robots, team up and solve crimes together.
Or My Boss My Hero. Also very random and funny. I also recommend Trick, an extremely popular drama spanning 3 seasons, that's one of my favorites. You can watch all of these on crunchyroll for free, you just need to sign up. Let me know how these work out for you.\(○^ω^○)/

Hey, thanks for the recommendations, I'll check out the Sexy Voice and Robo show soon.

Off the top of my head, I can think of two Japanese films I've seen.I think one was called Versus and the other was Battle Royale.
